Madison Honda addition and rehabilitation project represented numerous challenges. The site was small, sloped and tight for program requirements. Main street location was within a town with a historical core and zoning code with restrictive height and appearance requirements. The dealership had to remain in business during construction. Packed program requirements had to be accommodated within a tight footprint that could not extend beyond a limited height requirement.
This solution met the challenges with a new showroom addition built to the side of the existing showroom. A deep basement accommodated the parts storage and service staff needs. A second floor over the Showroom accommodated the office and sales staff. An addition to the existing service department accommodated Customer Drive Through and a Boutique. After the new showroom building was completed, the old showroom was demolished.[ezcol_1quarter_end]
